BTEC Digital Design is an exciting course with 21st-century technology at its core. We offer the only course of its kind here in Hong Kong. It's a qualification that is designed with industry in mind and perfect for students who are considering a career within the creative industries. Students learn to create modern digital outcomes that we use and see every day, such as mobile apps, animations, augmented reality graphics and wearable device interfaces. To do this, they’ll be taught about design thinking and how to use advanced, industry-standard design software from the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.

Students complete a Level 3 Sub-Diploma course that enables them to build a creative design portfolio of multiple projects, which is vital for University applications. Previous Digital Design students have had a 100% application success rate, including scholarship and unconditional offers. After University, students can begin their careers in a wide range of disciplines, for example, Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Animation, Digital Marketing, Digital Illustration and Games Design. 

BTEC Digital Design is 100% coursework and students will learn digital skills in three core areas - User Experience Design, Communication Design and Motion Graphics. In the final year of the course, students select one of these areas and build a personal portfolio of outcomes in preparation for their future studies.
